Home Alone star unrecognisable as they make stunning catwalk debut
Kristin Minter, perhaps best known for her role in the Christmas classic Home Alone as Heather, the oldest cousin of leading character Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin), looked unrecognisable during her recent catwalk debut. The star, now 58, made her runway appearance at New York Fashion Week, walking in the Dennis Basso show.
The actress looked effortless as she owned the catwalk wearing a pair of cream trousers matched with a beige and white jumper. The star's huge fashion moment came weeks after she revealed to fans she had signed with Elite Model Management in a huge career change for the former child star. Her New York Fashion Week appearance sparked a fan frenzy on social media, with many commenting about how "beautiful" she looked.
Kristin shared a snapshot of herself on the runway with her Instagram followers, writing: "Walking NYFW after 40 years, but I didn't fall! Small victories! Thank you, Dennis Basso, for making me part of your show and new beginnings. #dennisbasso."

One user commented: "You look beautiful!" Meanwhile, another said: "Repping 50+ like a golden goddess." A third gushed with heart and fire emojis: "So proud of you. You look FABULOUS." Another wrote: "So fun! You look like a Queen!"
Kristin previously admitted seeing herself on screen made her feel "nauseous", but it looks as though she has overcome her shyness to venture into modelling.
She told the Daily Mail: "I've actually only seen Home Alone - and I wouldn't even say I saw it all the way through - once, at a screening. I remember I went to go and see Goodfellas, which came out right before I went to the screening of Home Alone.
"I actually had to walk out of the theatre and get some air and stuff and then I remember with Home Alone it was the first screening I'd ever been to of something I was in and as soon as I saw my face, I burst into tears. And I've just never sat down and watched it again. I've seen bits and pieces, but I hate hearing my voice."
Despite this, Kristin went on to star in many television shows, including ER, Ray Donovan and Dirt. Kristen was well-received for playing Miranda ‘Randi’ Fronczak in the medical drama ER, which ran from 1994 to 2009.
According to IMDB, the star last acted in the 2022 thriller 7th Secret, which follows the life of a young wife harbouring a secret who finds herself wrapped up in a double life.
