Holly Willoughby just wore the dream festive velvet suit (costing just £108)
Always an arbiter of style, Holly Willoughby has shared another go-to outfit with fans, this time, for the festive season.
The TV presenter posted pictures of her in a gorgeous velvet suit by Marks & Spencer on Instagram that would be perfect for any Christmas event.
“There’s a velvet theme today…” wrote Willoughby, speaking about her velvet Beulah dress worn on This Morning, that she had posted on her page as part of her daily #hwstyle series earlier in the day.
“Let’s all take a moment for this gorgeous velvet suit of dreams,” she continued. “It would make a stunning addition to your party-season wardrobe.”
And we couldn’t agree more. Velvet is synonymous with the festive season, and for good reason.
Not only does the sumptuous fabric look and feel good, but it also won’t leave you freezing on your way to and from your many festive events.
Whilst velvet is a good start, you’ll be even more grateful for the wide-leg trousers’ elasticated waist when the pigs-in-blankets are being passed around.
Plus, the high-rise elasticated waist makes for a super flattering silhouette for any shape, and allows the wide leg to flow out with ease.
And the blazer. M&S have always done a good blazer, but add a relaxed fit and ruched sleeve and you’ll be reaching for the velvet classic year after year.
“I’m wearing mine with a classic white shirt to complete the look,” added Willoughby, who styled the velvet suit with M&S’s Satin Collared Long Sleeve Shirt, matching velvet platform heels, and a glitzy clutch bag.
The outfit ignited a whole load of comments, with one fan writing:
