It's the time of year when our thoughts should be turning to key trans-seasonal pieces that are great to throw on when the weather starts to get a little chillier.
Which always happens way too soon and never ceases to take us by surprise (we think that's called denial).
Not this year, though, because we've been eyeing up this really stylish but practical faux leather jacket which will work perfectly thrown over the top of so many of the summer dresses we're wearing now.
And, frankly, if Holly Willoughby has approved of this flattering, affordable jacket, £49.50, then that's a major plus point too. Because her sartorial choices and influence never cease to inspire us, or thousands of others.
Earlier this month, the presenter paired the classic black jacket with a flattering sage green midi skirt (£39.50) and very affordable £8.50 T-shirt, bringing her entire chic look in at under £100 (£97.50, to be exact).
Word of warning though: as most things the TV presenter is seen wearing get snapped up by super savvy shoppers within what feels like mere minutes of them hitting the virtual (or IRL) shelves, we suggest you don't delay.
Why we rate it
It's a timeless, classic, wardrobe staple that you'll be able to pull out and wear for many years to come.
The faux leather jacket has a popper and zip fastening, and is cut to have a flattering fit that's comfortable and will look great over most - if not all - of the dresses and tops you already own.
It has some great features, too, like the shoulder epaulettes and poppers on the waistband.
With three zip-pockets and a ticket pocket, it's great for storing things like your phone, credit cards, and any tissues or paper train/bus tickets you need while home or abroad.
As well as a classic black, the jacket also comes in a soft khaki colour which is quite a neutral look that'll also go with so many pieces in your wardrobe.
M&S, as ever, has catered to a wide variety of sizes, too, with this jacket available in 6 to 24.
It's also washable on a 40°C delicate cycle - a bonus we didn't expect.
