Wedged between Haiti and Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic is home to sandy beaches, spectacular waterfalls and adrenaline-inducing water sports. And it’s also a popular celebrity haunt, with many choosing to stay here while they film on location; Shotgun Wedding, Road House and The Lost City were partly or completely shot here.
