There are running shops – and then there’s Hoka’s Run Stop Corner Stop.

Opening to the public on Friday 17 January, this immersive store in East London promises to elevate the shopping experience for runners who want all the key kit and a whole lot more.

Located on Bethnal Green Road, the Run Stop Corner Shop will be a go-to space for consumers to stock up on running essentials for the upcoming training and race season, whether that’ll take them to the urban streets of the city or the endless trails of the mountains.

The store will feature plenty of quirks, too, such as a working ATM which produces special ‘Hokens’ rather than pound notes. Customers can then use these Hokens to purchase all kinds of in-store items, from scratch cards to all-important snacks.

The store will open in conjunction with the launch of the Bondi 9 – the latest iteration of Hoka’s max-cushioned Bondi range – and, as such, will give runners the chance to test out this shoe in an immersive, innovative environment. This environment will be the Hoka FlyLab, hidden at the back of the shop and accessible via a neon-lit blue walkway.

The FlyLab will also host a stream of brand activities for the public, such as regular runs in collaboration with various communities in London.
