Here's the Preliminary New York Fashion Week Schedule for Spring 2025

On Monday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) released the preliminary schedule for New York Fashion Week in September.

Running from Friday, Sept. 6 through Wednesday, Sept. 11, the Spring 2025 shows and presentations currently includes over 60 names. Area will kick things off, and 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Melitta Baumeister will close it out. Returning designers include 3.1 Phillip Lim, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Jason Wu, LaQuan Smith, Luar (Beyoncé appearance round two?), Michael Kors, Sandy Liang and Tory Burch, to name a few — plus Cynthia Rowley, Simkhai and Who Decides War. (Absent from the preliminary schedule: Altuzarra, Helmut Lang, Gabriela Hearst and Fforme.) Ralph Lauren and Proenza Schouler will present their respective collections ahead of NYFW, per a press release, while Advisry, Campillo, Michael Fausto, Salon 1884 and TWP will participate for the first time.

There's a certain level of excitement circulating around the upcoming season far greater than what we've witnessed in recent years. It's not often that labels who typically show in Europe make the trek to the Big Apple, so to have multiple brands do this for the Spring 2025 lineup is nothing short of thrilling. Cos returns to the schedule, while Off-White, Toteme and Ronald van der Kemp will make their NYFW debuts.

"NYFW remains the home base for showcasing the best of American fashion. This season boasts a powerful lineup of established and emerging brands experimenting with forward-thinking ways of presenting their collections," Joseph Maglieri, CFDA's director of Fashion Week Initiatives, said in a statement.

There are some exciting, previously-announced off-calendar events, too: Pieter Mulier's Alaïa is set to show on Sept. 6.
