  1. Heat a little vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan. Break egg separately into a glass and add to pan.

2. Fry over a medium heat for 2-3min until lightly set.

3. For a firm yolk, the egg can be fried on both sides. Serve immediately.

If your frying pan has a lid, then you can also place the lid on your pan once you've cracked your egg into it, and the steam created in the pan will help cook your egg quickly and more evenly.
