Harry Styles' 'Watermelon Sugar' Music Video Has Twitter Feeling Hot And Bothered
The state of summer and the future of dating are in flux, but there's one thing that's forever constant: Harry Styles' ability to make the internet parched. Today, he released the colourful and beachy music video for his latest single, "Watermelon Sugar," and the singer made his devious intentions known from the start. "THIS VIDEO IS DEDICATED TO TOUCHING," a title card reads before the video begins, timestamped to assure us this day will go down in the history books.
The video lives up to its ~sensual~ premise. There's Harry eating a watermelon, there's Harry touching other people while they indulge in various fruits, there's his produce pals feeding him strawberries. (Don't even get me started on his mani!!) The song, released in in November 2019, always had us craving a tropical getaway and sultry summer fling. But the phrase "I want more berries and that summer feelin'" hits different during socially-distant Horny Season™.
Much was accomplished with this video. It flooded our Monday with impure thoughts and proved that watermelon is definitively the sexiest fruit of all time. (Sorry to Timothée and his peach.)
