Harry Styles joins a long line of celebrities breaking into the beauty business of late. From Jennifer Aniston to Ariana Grande, Pharrell and Machine Gun Kelly, the market is seemingly lucrative for all with loyal followers – something Styles has in droves.

He does, too, have a passion for products which form an integral part of his sartorial appeal. Take the Styles manicure, a regular feature since his departure from One Direction. And so, fittingly, the entertainer's brand Pleasing is launching with nail polishes.

The hero is Perfect Pearl, a pearlised white with a glossy finish. It comes alone or in the Perfect Polish Set which includes three more shades – Pearly Tops, clear with a subtle iridescence; Inky Pearly, a navy blue/black; and Granny's Pink Pearls, a pearlescent pink. Plus there's alphabet decals to customise your look.

There's skincare, too: The Pleasing Pen is a lip and eye serum, while The Pearlescent Illuminating Serum does what it says on the tin via (beautiful) encapsulated pearls.

A teaser video on Pleasing's Instagram page hints of haircare and make-up to come, much to its follower's delight.

While some celebrity beauty brands feel disconnected from their founders, Pleasing appears to align perfectly with Styles' persona.

And, for those questioning whether the world needs another commercial enterprise of its kind, know that the singer intends to give back with this opportunity. The website reveals that: "For the first-ever drop of Pleasing, we have partnered with Nest, a non-profit supporting the responsible growth and creative engagement of the artisan and maker economy to build a world of greater gender equity and economic inclusion."
