Harry Potter's Tom Felton is totally unrecognisable in new Netflix movie

From Cosmopolitan

Tom Felton from Harry Potter is starring in an upcoming Netflix adaptation of A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting. Only, er, if you didn't know he was on the cast list, you almost definitely wouldn't recognise him.

Following his role as Slytherin's Draco Malfoy in the hugely successful franchise, Tom, now 33, has had parts in TV shows Labyrinth, The Flash and Origin. But it would be fair to say the Netflix Original is his first mainstream production since leaving the wonderful wizarding world.

In A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting, Tom will play the Grand Guignol, who is almost completely unrecognisable compared to Tom's Harry Potter character and also in real life:

Does anyone else think he looks exactly like Sirius Black?

The adaptation of Joe Ballarini's book series tells the story of a babysitter whose child is kidnapped by Felton's Boogeyman. To reclaim the little one, the babysitter has to venture into a world of supernatural beings, where she finds a secret society of babysitters who know all about this stuff and fight to protect kids from monsters.

Also starring in the film is Pose's Indya Moore, Artemis Fowl's Tamara Smart, Alessio Scalzotto, Oona Laurence and Ian Ho, with Netflix describing the production as a "new family film about a secret society of fierce babysitters who protect children from a world of monsters."

We're probably not the target audience, but we're totally watching this.

A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting drops on Netflix on October 14th.
