From Cosmopolitan

As we've already mentioned (approx 500 times), we're counting down the days to Selling Sunset season 3. The third instalment of the Netflix original drops on the streaming service next month on August 7th, and largely down to our obsession with the drama, we cannot wait.

While the last series saw Christine Quinn's extravagant engagement party and Mary Fitzgerald's gorgeous wedding, the next season promises to be even more juicy than the last. We cannot WAIT.

But what's actually going to go down in Selling Sunset season 3? Here are some ~spoilers~ of what we can expect, thanks to the teaser trailer, as well as some storyline predictions. Exciting!

Chrishell and Justin Hartley's divorce takes centre stage

It's no secret that Chrishell's divorce from This Is Us actor Justin Hartley is going to feature at the centre of the next series. The estate agent has spoken openly about how 'humiliating' and 'upsetting' the split was for her, not least because she wasn't expecting it - and didn't plan for it to be featured in the Netflix show.

"Unfortunately, I’m in a position where more has been shared that I would have ever chosen because this was not a choice that I made,’ Chrishell said on the RealiTea with Derek Z podcast. "Nor was this the timing that I would have chosen while I was filming a show, so I’m already in a position where so much has been shared that I wouldn’t have opted for. It’s an embarrassing, humiliating type of thing to go through without cameras and without people judging you, so I just hope people are gentle when they watch."

Ahead of the third season, Chrishell added, "We’re real people. This was a traumatising time in my life and it’s going to be hard for me to watch it myself."

We get to see Christine and Christian's wedding

We got a glimpse of the incredible winter themed wedding in the third season teaser, but nothing is going to compare to the real thing. Judging by how over the top their engagement party was (there was an actual zebra there), we're expecting big things. Think fake snow, black swans and Christine wearing a black ball gown, walking down the isle to a string quartet playing Ava Max's 'Sweet but Psycho'.

Incredible.

Someone FINALLY sold that $44 million dollar house.

With 20,000 square-feet, a 15-car garage, four hot tubs, wrap-around infinity pool, rooftop deck, cinema room and spa (among other things we don't even have time to list), it was going to be a BIG sale. In the end, it went for $35.5 million in December 2019 - a scene which opens the season three preview.

Amanza has since spilled, "It was Jason [who sold it]. He sold it to a couple. I was upset because we were kind of hoping that the really handsome single bachelor would buy it so we could go and hang out at the pool," she joked.

Will Christine and Mary make up?

Christine and Mary's fall out took centre stage in the second series of Selling Sunset, and had all sorts of layers to it. First off, Mary was frustrated with Christine for telling Davina she was uninvited from her wedding to Roman. Later, Christine was annoyed at Mary for having a second hen party which she wasn't invited to, organised by Amanza and attended by Chrishell. Will these two kiss and make up, or is the group divide going to feature in season three, too?

Will Mary and Roman go on honeymoon?

The last episode of Selling Sunset season two saw Roman and Mary walk down the aisle and say 'I do' in front of their cast mates (not, er, Davina though). Does that mean we'll get to see their honeymoon in the next instalment? Considering Mary is a bit of a workaholic (y'know, she did sell a house on her wedding day), we're not sure there's going to be much holidaying going on.

Will Davina sell that $80million dollar house?

Much of Davina's focus in the second series was the $80million listing she convinced Jason to let her take on. And while we saw her meeting with the owner and telling Christine what an incredible property it is, we didn't see much in the way of interest from buyers.

So, will she find someone to make the purchase? It sounds like she might still be on the hunt, after Jason basically tells her "I told you so" in the preview.

"I’m just telling you, we are never going to sell that listing, and we are walking away from that house," he says. Eek!

Will Maya give birth to her second baby?

In the last Netflix series, Maya revealed she was expecting her second child to her colleagues. Fast forward six months, and the estate agent revealed her daughter had been born. So cute! "I'm happy to show you my baby girl, Elle," she told her followers on Instagram, before giving fans a glimpse of her sleeping newborn. "She was born Thursday [May 21]. She was born very quickly. 10 minutes I was pushing and she was out."

So the short answer is no, Maya's daughter's birth won't feature in the second series of Selling Sunset. Judging by the timing of Chrishell's divorce, which was roughly November 2019, Maya will instead be four months pregnant in the show.

7th August, we're ready for you.
