Hannah Waddingham is a vision in a bright blue suit
Hannah Waddingham looked amazing in a statement blue suit on Sunday, 28 January.
The star was snapped in the look while attending the Gala Opening of Plaza Suite at The Savoy Theatre in London's West End. Plaza Suite is a highly-anticipated production, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick, in the Sex and the City star's West End debut.
To mark the occasion, Hannah attended the opening looking fantastic in a colour-block suit. The trend for statement suits shows no sign of slowing down — and Hannah perfectly shows how to embrace the look. Opting for a style with a satin finish and dramatic detailing, the 49-year-old actress decided on long, wide-leg trousers and a co-ordinating blazer with draping at the front. She wore her signature, blonde hair in an elegant updo and opted for a beauty look composed of a shimmering eye paired with a pop of pink blush and a pink lip.
Hannah wasn't the only star to look incredible while gracing the red carpet. It was a star-studded event, with celebrities including Sheridan Smith, Joely Richardson, David Tennant and Elizabeth McGovern turning up to celebrate the show. Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern also opted for wide-leg trousers, choosing to match them with a silky blouse.
Of course, the Gala Opening wouldn't be complete without the stars of the show themselves, too. Sarah Jessica Parker looked sensational in an elegant, sequin dress — while Matthew Broderick opted for a sharp, pin-stripe suit.
