Hannah Waddingham looked sensational at the BAFTAs this weekend as she arrived on the red carpet in a stunning gown.
The star attended the British Academy Television and Film Awards with P&O Cruises at The Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (12 May) and looked fabulous in a bejewelled, floor-length dress. Hannah's fitted, hour-glass number featured a flame-style neckline edged with crystals for a seriously show-stopping look.
Hannah was nominated for the Best Entertainment Programme award for Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas but sadly missed out on the prize to Strictly Come Dancing on the night.
Always one to find the joy in a moment, Hannah cause hilarity across social media when the camera panned to Hannah for her reaction. Looking straight down the lens to the audience at home, she cheekily toasted what appeared to be a bracelet-style hip flask to the camera before taking a swig.
While Hannah was pipped to the post for her Christmas show, she did take celebrate a win in the Best Live Event Coverage category, for her role hosting the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.
The main big winners on the night were Top Boy (Best Drama Series, and Supporting Actress for Jasmine Jobson) and the Sixth Commandment (Best Limited Drama, and Leading Actor for Timothy Spall) which took home two awards apiece.
The award for Leading Actress, however, went to Sarah Lancashire for her role in the much-loved Happy Valley. The public vote also secured Happy Valley’s final showdown between Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) and Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton) as the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award winner.
Meanwhile, Lorraine Kelly was awarded the BAFTA Special Award and gold medallist Paralympian swimmer Ellie Simmons added a new genre of trophy to her collection, after winning Best Documentary for Ellie Simmons: Finding My Secret Family.
