Hannah Waddingham would love to return for Hocus Pocus 3, though it seems she hasn't been officially asked back just yet.
With a threequel on the Sanderson sisters in the works, the Ted Lasso star has talked about what could be ahead for her Mother Witch, as previously teased by screenwriter Jen D'Angelo.
"No, hilariously," Waddingham told The Hollywood Reporter about whether she'd been contacted to return to Salem for a follow-up. "I love that there's been all this talk, and I'm here for it. But no, no."
Waddingham's Mother Witch pops up in Hocus Pocus 2's prologue set in 1600s Salem, gifting the spell book to the younger Winnie, Mary and Sarah.
Despite not having been invited back just yet, Waddingham would love to rock the silver 'do and wear the witchy cape once more.
"I mean, that would be amazing. I feel like I just barely, barely scratched the surface or put half an eyelash on for her," she said.
"I feel like there is far more for the Mother Witch to cause magnificent mayhem. I would be so down for that," she continued.
"I mean, for one, Salvador Perez's costume needs another trot out for sure, and my cape that I wouldn't let them cut, definitely needs another swish. And she needs a song, PS."
Meanwhile, fans of Waddingham can enjoy her musical talents in her AppleTV+'s Christmas special, Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas.
The show premiered on November 22 and is a "musical extravaganza" featuring plenty of special guests, including a bunch of Ted Lasso faces such as Juno Temple (Keeley Jones), Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt), Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), James Lance (Trent Crimm), Billy Harris (Colin Hughes), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), and Nick Mohammed (Nate Shelley).
