So it's important to see your GP or nutritionist if you feel like you may be deficient in a specific vitamin or mineral and they can check your levels.

'Specific supplements have been traditionally used to improve hair growth as hair loss is a common issue that may be improved with vitamin and mineral supplementation,' explains Jessica Sepel, Clinical Nutritionist and Founder of JSHealth Vitamins.
