Hailey Bieber Just Perfected This Unexpected Fall Shoe Combo

And I've officially been converted.

Here’s the deal: when Hailey Bieber cosigns a divisive trend, it’s instantly adopted by the masses (I just draw the line at jorts). With that rationale and the help of the beauty mogul’s latest Instagram Story, the unexpected shoe pairing that will be happening everywhere this season is the beloved babydoll shoe with a whimsical twist.

On Monday, Hailey debuted the divisive footwear with a detailed OOTD after sharing a plethora of stories promoting her new Peptide Lip Tints. Serving total balletcore vibes, Bieber wore a bubblegum pink minidress featuring an off-the-shoulder top and a flared, bouncy skirt. While we've seen almost every iteration of the ultra-short dress from her in the past, Hailey added cutesy flair to the outfit by slipping into a pair of black Mary Jane flats with white crew socks. A black handbag, a smattering of gold rings, and gold dome earrings rounded out the rest of her girly look.

As for her glam, Hailey styled her brunette bob in a tousled half-up, half-down hairstyle with face-framing tendrils (complete with a black velvet bow barrette by Jennifer Behr), and she rounded out the look with her go-to espresso makeup featuring glossy lips and pink eyeshadow.

Staying true to her balletcore era, the beauty mogul promoted the release of her new Peptide Lip Tints last week while sporting a pair of ballet slippers. In the campaign snaps, the rhode founder wore a black long-sleeved turtleneck leotard, white ankle socks, and silky pink ballet flats. She accessorized with gigantic gold drop earrings, a thick stack of gold bracelets, and one of her new lip tints in the shade ribbon, of course.
