'Hacks' Star Hannah Einbinder's Golden Globes Makeup Demonstrates the Glamour in Simplicity
She wore a soft look courtesy of Lancôme.
Statuesque in a custom sandstone Louis Vuitton gown, Hannah Einbinder kept her Golden Globes beauty look minimal, hydrated, and classic. Eschewing sharp lines and bold colors, makeup artist Molly Greenwald focused on a diffused look in a mellow palette.
"Hannah’s sculptural gown in a sandstone shade was so effortlessly elegant and strong—I wanted her makeup to complement that softness while enhancing her natural beauty," Greenwald tells InStyle. "The goal was to keep everything clean, timeless, and refined to align with the statuesque simplicity of her look."
The "Hacks" star's look began with a feathery layer of foundation and concealer. "We started by perfecting her skin with Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer in 250W to subtly blur any small imperfections," says Greenwald. "Then, I applied a sheer wash of Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation in 220C to create a radiant, natural finish."
"To sculpt and define, I used the Lancôme Dual Finish Skin Transforming Bronzer in 02 Light to enhance the contours of her face as well as her eyes," says Greenwald. "Then on the eyes, I added a soft touch of Lancôme Idôle Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in 02 Desert Sand on the lid , which gave the perfect hint of dimension. We finished her eyes with a clean coat of Lancôme Idôle Flutter Mascara, focusing just on the top lashes."
Greenwald's light approach kept Einbinder's look airy. "The simplicity of Hannah’s overall look tonight called for a soft, fresh face that didn’t compete with her gown but enhanced her innate beauty," says Greenwald.
With barely there complexion and eye makeup, Einbinder's lips became the star of the look. "It was all about natural, glowing skin paired with the perfect 'my lips but better' lip," says Greenwald. "On her lips, I used Lancôme Idôle Lip Shaper in 26 Don't be Chai as a base for definition and longevity, topped with Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Drama Matte Lipstick in 321 Rose Mania."
Einbinder's minimal makeup demonstrates the glamour in simplicity. "It’s all about that soft, natural radiance and shades that feel effortless and timeless," says Greenwald.
