The weather is (finally!) warming up, and summer is on the horizon. Now is the perfect time to embrace light, fruit-based desserts, from fruit salad to berry-packed trifles. And, since fresh fruits like apricots, blackberries, and mangoes are in season during the summer months, warm weather brings new opportunities to incorporate summer fruit into cooking and baking. Now, iconic ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs is also getting in on the summer flavor game, releasing a few new pints just in time for summer picnics and front-porch snacking.

Häagen-Dazs Is Releasing 3 New Summer Sorbet Flavors

Häagen-Dazs, maker of Allrecipes’ best overall variety of mint chocolate chip ice cream, has been growing its portfolio of non-dairy frozen desserts. This month, the brand is putting three brand-new sorbet flavors onto grocery store shelves, all available in 14-ounce containers with a suggested price of $6.99 each.

The three new flavors are Summer Blueberry & Lemon, a mix of sun-ripened blueberries from the Pacific Northwest blended with zesty lemon; Passion Fruit & Sweet Pear, a passion fruit-forward blend accented with the flavors of sweet pear; and Sweet Lemon Coconut, a mixture of sweet, tangy lemon and coconut cream.

These sorbets join the already stacked 2025 Häagen-Dazs lineup, alongside two new flavors of ice cream bars—Salted Caramel Macadamia and New York Strawberry Cheesecake—and four new Belgian Waffle Cones.

Where to Find the New Häagen-Dazs Sorbets

Grocery shoppers have already spotted the new varieties of Häagen-Dazs in stores. In the r/icecream subreddit, one user shared a photo of the freezer section at their local Giant Eagle, saying, “I’m excited to try [these] as I enjoyed the Häagen Dazs raspberry flavor some years ago. Passion fruit is a flavor I’m definitely interested in, as I think it makes a great sorbet. I anticipate that the flavors can be much brighter and tangier in sorbet form.”

Another redditor who’d tried the new sorbets chimed in to say, “I just finished off some of the sweet lemon sorbet. First bite or two, I wasn’t sold. Ate a bit more and decided I like it and ended up sneaking to the freezer for seconds later. This may be my new obsession.”

We’ve spotted the new Häagen-Dazs sorbets at other grocery stores, too, from Weis Markets to Kroger, so keep an eye out for these new summertime sorbets on your next grocery shopping trip. If you can’t find them, worry not. There’s always other ways to enjoy homemade, dairy-free summer desserts, like Blueberry Crumb Bars or Coconut Lime Ice Cream.
