Greggs has really upped its game with vegan options over the past few years. The Greggs Vegan Sausage Roll is a thing of beauty, the Greggs Vegan Steak Bake is exceptional, and we just know when the Vegan Chicken Bake does finally arrive, that will be outstanding too.

But until then, we just have to get ourselves all riled up for Greggs’ Vegan Sausage, Bean And CheeZe Melt, which is finally back on the menu. It launched last summer, but alas it came and went. But now it's back, baby!

Designed to mirror some of the iconic features of the Sausage, Bean And Cheese Melt, the plant-based version is also wrapped in layers of golden puff pastry. But instead of the classic filling, it’s loaded with super-tasty pieces of vegan sausage, grated original and mozzarella flavour vegan CheeZe, and of course tasty baked beans.

Hannah Squirrell, customer director at Greggs, said at the time of the launch: “The latest addition to our menu gives customers another vegan friendly alternative to one of our most iconic menu items. As we expand our vegan options with the launch of our new Vegan Sausage, Bean and CheeZe Melt, we mark another milestone as we continue with our journey to become our customers’ favourite destination for food-on-the-go.”

The new Vegan Sausage, Bean and CheeZe Melt will set you back just £1.65.
