'MasterChef' judge Gregg Wallace shows off weight loss in topless photo

MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace has shown off the makings of a six-pack after losing over three stone.

The 54-year-old former greengrocer and self-confessed pudding-lover posted a topless picture of himself on Instagram, captioned “Getting there.”

Wallace – who became a father for the third time to his son Sid this summer – revealed he now weighs 12 stone 3lbs and has 18% bodyfat.

The TV presenter, who is 5ft 8in, hired a personal trainer and discovered a love of the gym, and has previously shared a video of himself online weightlifting a 130kg barbell.

Wallace, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, used to weigh over 16 stone but announced in 2017 he had given up alcohol and fry-ups.

He revealed on Good Morning Britain: “Let's just say there are certain things you have to cut out. I reduced the booze, I've had to give up fry-ups and I exercise more.”

Wallace hired a personal trainer and discovered a love of the gym, and has previously shared a video of himself online weightlifting a 130kg barbell.

And he told The Sun in 2017: “I’m a huge fan of curries, chillies and stews and it is still possible to lose weight and eat hearty meals.

“Think about cooking with meats such as chicken and pork – all the things that don’t have much fat.

“Use lean mince to make chillies, fill up with tasty stews stuffed full of healthy, low-calorie veg.”

Wallace met his wife Anne-Marie, 32, on Twitter in 2013 and they married in 2016.

They welcomed baby Sid four months ago after struggling to conceive.

Announcing the pregnancy Wallace revealed: “We were due to start IVF but then it happened naturally after two years of trying. The doctor told us it was a miracle Anna was pregnant.”

Wallace is also father to Tom, 25, and Libby, 23, with his ex-wife Denise.
