Gregg Wallace issues cryptic 'regret' post as disgraced BBC MasterChef presenter hints at 'change'
Gregg Wallace has offered a mysterious update on his future with a series of cryptic posts on social media. The 60-year-old presenter stepped down from the hugely popular cookery show late last year amid a series of allegations over his behaviour.
A BBC News investigation revealed allegations of inappropriate sexual comments and inappropriate behaviour against him. He strongly denied any wrongdoing.
He has since kept a low profile, but he has since started posting via social media. GB News reported that, on Instagram Stories, Wallace shared an image of his five-year-old son, Sid, walking through a field with the words: "If we know exactly where we want to be, it’s easier to plan a route to get there."

He shared another post depicting a train station with the words 'happy' and 'regret' over the two platforms. It had the words 'change isn't easy but what will happen if we don't?' underneath.
Last week, he posted an image of two women with the words: "Sunday can be a time for reflection. Perhaps make ourselves a promise for next week."
He added: "We often want to change but fear it. We feel comfort in routine, even if that routine is harmful. We shouldn't be afraid of asking for help."
Allegations against Wallace stemmed from a number of programmes, including MasterChef, Eat Well For Less, and Celebrity MasterChef. Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark was among those who made the allegations.
One woman says he touched her bottom at an event and another says he pressed his crotch against her while filming on a different show.
A BBC spokesperson said in December that it took any accusations raised 'seriously' and there were 'robust processes in place to deal with them'. It said it would be 'inappropriate for us to comment on anything that could form part of Banijay’s ongoing investigation or otherwise influence it'.
Banijay UK, the production company behind MasterChef and Eat Well for Less, said it 'takes this matter incredibly seriously but while the external investigation is ongoing, we won’t be commenting on individual allegations'.
