Road closures will be in place on a bridge in Great Yarmouth for five nights in March.

Haven Bridge will be temporarily closed from 9pm to 6am from Monday, March 13, to allow for bridge tests to be carried out.

The work is expected to take five nights to complete.

Traffic will be diverted via Pasteur Road, Western Bypass, Acle New Road and North Quay.

Free shuttle buses will be provided to carry pedestrians from one side of the bridge to the other.

The shuttle bus stops will be located at the Stonecutters car park on the east side of the bridge and the Matalan bus stop on the west side.

The bridge test lifts are being carried out as the major Haven Bridge upgrade project nears final completion.

Breydon Bridge will remain open while Haven Bridge is closed.
