This Gordon's Pink Gin Cake Comes With Edible Sugar Pearls!
Whether you're a lover of Gordon's hot pink gin or not (but really, who's not?), you'll want to get your hands on this!
Gordon's has launched the brand's first ever cake. And the gin that got the call up to inspire the bake was, naturally, the pink gin that's taken our drinks cabinets by storm since its launch in 2017.
The delicious-looking cake is a layered pink and white sponge, sandwiched with a raspberry jam filling and decorated with a pearlescent pink ombre effect. The decadent cake is topped with generous amounts of Gordon’s Premium Pink flavoured frosting, charming edible sugar pearls and dried raspberries.
You may not have had a cake this pink and pretty since your 10th birthday, but this one's just for grown ups!
The candy coloured cake is perfect for summer parties and picnics and will look great in photos. Rather than having to order ahead or visit a bakery you can pick this Instagrammable cake up in Asda from the 25 July and Tesco from 6 September, for just £12.
Declan Hassett, Senior Licensing Manager, said in the press release: "Following the hugely successful launch of our Premium Pink Gin in 2017, we wanted to create something really different and special for our customers. There was no better choice than partnering with Finsbury to make our cake dreams a reality."
Speaking on behalf of Finsbury Food Group, who helped Gordon's make the cake a reality, Brand Manager Emma Hamilton, added: "We know gin lovers will want to snap this up, but we’ve made sure that there’s enough beautiful flavours and toppings to delight those who aren’t as partial to gin too!"
Now all you have to do is think of an occasion to use as an excuse to buy the beauty!
