Gogglebox's Ellie Warner has been inundated with words of encouragement from fans as she marked her baby son Ezra's first birthday.

The beloved Channel 4 personality, who stars alongside her sister Izzi on Gogglebox, has a following of nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram, where she regularly posts snippets of her professional and personal life.

For her son Ezra's "early" birthday celebration, Ellie shared two gorgeous pictures; one featuring the TV star and her partner Nat with their little boy, and another of Ellie exhibiting the impressive homemade cake for the occasion.

The distinctively decorated birthday cake was studded with icing mushrooms and artfully arranged candles. Ellie, dressed casually in a white T-shirt and black leggings with her blonde hair swept back in a bun, wrote: "Early 1st birthday celebrations for Ezra! Got to milk your 1st birthday", reports the Liverpool Echo.

Ezra's first birthday comes after Ellie celebrated her own birthday with a trip to Liverpool with her long-term partner Nat Eddleston. Sharing some snaps of the trip to her Instagram page, Ellie shared that she had fallen in love with the city during a brief time there.

She wrote: "Had an amazing time in Liverpool for my birthday! Absolutely loved this city and there’s no way you can fit everything in, in one weekend! Already planning my next trip back! The history, culture, food [laughing emoji] the people [heart-eye emoji]! I’ve loved it all [smiling emoji]."

In the photos, Ellie and her partner made their way through the cities sights, including Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, and the Royal Albert Dock.

Ellie's partner Nat suffered a horrific accident in March 2022, which left him badly injured. Nat was walking home in Leeds when he was hit by a car, leaving him fighting for his life.

He was rushed to the hospital with a broken neck, back, and two collapsed lungs. Following the crash, sisters Ellie and Izzi took a break from the Channel 4 show, as Ellie stayed by her boyfriend's side throughout.

Ellie asked for donations for the brain injury charity Headway, which works to support survivors, their families, and carers, for which she raised more than £1,315. Writing on her Facebook page with the name: "El's birthday fundraiser for Headway - the brain injury," Ellie said: "For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Headway – the brain injury association.

"I've chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you'll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I've included information about Headway - the brain injury association below."

She continued: "Headway's mission is to promote the understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide vital information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers."
