Gogglebox's Ellie Warner angrily hits back after being mum-shamed over son’s ponytail

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has responded to a troll who commented on her son’s hairstyle in a photo she posted online. Ellie had shared a photo of her son Ezra, and the cute pic showed he had his wavy blonde hair tied up in a ponytail while wearing sunglasses. While he looked adorable, one of Ellie’s followers was not impressed.

““I love you on TV but please think about your sons future,” they wrote. “Get his hair cut and stop breastfeeding him, he has to grow up with all this not you, give him a chance at a normal life at least.” Ellie shared the comment and then added: “This is what we are up against.” She continued: “Thanks for all the kind messages, I wasn’t actually upset reading the message but I chose to share because this is the BS that women have to put up with and I’m trying to raise a little dude who respects women and is against toxic masculinity.” Ellie finished up by saying: “And guess what… that message was from another woman?!”

Ellie has hit back at followers who have criticised her in the past. In June, she shared some holiday photos with her followers that featured her and boyfriend Nat Eddleston with Ezra, and included pics of the Gogglebox star in a bikini.

She later revealed she had been inundated with messages from personal trainers asking if she wanted some coaching. In response, she shared a photo of her dinner to her Instagram Story, which consisted of cheese-covered chicken and chips.

She wrote: "This is for all the online PTs who keep messaging me asking if I'd like coaching." She followed this with a middle finger emoji to show her thoughts on this.

In the next photo, Ellie shared that she had also opted for a brownie and ice cream dessert. Adding text to this, she penned: "And have that too."

Ellie has appeared on Gogglebox with her sister Izzi since 2015, and she introduced baby Ezra to viewers during an episode of the popular series in June last year. She showed off Ezra, and then handed him to her sister, and also shared a photo on social media that revealed his name, writing: "Sweet baby Ezra. He has made our lives complete. We love you so much son."

Earlier this year, Ellie revealed that Ezra had been taken to hospital twice in March as he had been suffering with bronchiolitis, a chest infection that affects babies and children. She revealed it had been a stressful month, writing: "I like the simple life what can I say.

"Ezra is doing well now I’m just putting this up here for balance, social media is saturated with everyone’s gorgeous Easter photos, but remember not everything is as you see on social media."
