Glenn Close is showing off her silly side after breaking her nose just before her 77th birthday.

The iconic actress dropped three close-ups of her face on Instagram while revealing that she’s on the mend. “I think this is going to be a particularly GOOD day,” she wrote in the caption of a slew of funny selfies, the day before her 77th birthday. “Ignore the bruises. I had a tiny break in my nose fixed. Feeling as beautiful as ever,” she added.

In the makeup-free photos, Glenn can be seen mugging for the camera while working tousled hair and a cardigan.

A slew of famous friends cheered her on. “You are a treasure,” wrote Rumer Willis. “Omg love you,” Lily Collins said. Even Instagram head Adam Mosseri chimed in with, “You, ma’am, are very good at Instagram 💪🏼💪🏼.”

Glenn didn’t share details about what happened to her nose and when, but she’s been busy posting photos and videos of nature on Instagram lately.

Three weeks ago, she shared a video of herself going through the acting paces of an extreme emotional reaction, writing, “Thinking of...,” in the caption. She later told a commenter that she was “thinking about how all that is going on in the world affects us. We constantly see images of the horror of war, displacement, starvation, cold, agonizing loss, brutality, sudden violence, grief, PAIN...and are in danger of becoming numb and neutral.”

But she's had plenty of fun, too. Back in early February, Glenn shared a post-haircut snap, writing in the caption, "Where did my hair go!!!"

According to the Cleveland Clinic, treatments for a broken nose can vary wildly. If the break doesn’t make your nose crooked or misshapen, you may just take OTC pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen and apply ice packs to ease the pain and swelling.

In the case of breaks that throw your nose out of alignment, your doctor may manually realign it (while your nose is numbed) or you may need corrective surgery.

Feel better, Glenn!
