Strictly Come Dancing 2021 winners Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis captured the nation’s heart throughout the last series, deservedly taking home that coveted Glitterball.

Now, the talented duo is going from strength to strength as it’s been revealed they have won every performance of the live Strictly tour so far. Taking to Instagram, Giovanni re-shared a story with image showing him and Rose mid-dance which had the caption, “the winners of the final matinee in Birmingham were Rose and Giovanni.”

Earlier this month, they sat down with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning to let fans know what to expect from their live performances, saying: "We said it'd be weird for us not to do our couple's choice dance. It was such a special moment that we have to do again and again."

Giovanni continued: "It's such an important dance, it's a statement, and doing it in an arena with 10,000 people live and stopping the music would be quite spectacular, I think. It's one of the most beautiful things I've done on Strictly."

The Italian dancer also showed off his new tattoo on his Instagram Stories, which includes the Glitterball trophy with 'SCD' written through it and a star on each side. Written underneath is "18-12-2021", which represents the day Giovanni and Rose were crowned the winners.

Eastender's star Rose made Strictly history by becoming the first deaf contestant to take part in the show and then go on to win it. She has yet to publicly comment on Giovanni's touching tribute. Who knows, maybe she has a matching one to celebrate their win!
