At Milan Fashion Week, a man has just broken the golden rule of fashion: don’t touch the models.
On leaving the Max Mara show with sister Bella, supermodel-in-the-making Gigi Hadid was manhandled by a guy on the street.
After lifting Gigi into the air and ignoring Bella’s pleas to let go, the man (believed to be notorious internet prankster Vitalii Sediuk) eventually dropped her and ran off with Gigi giving chase until security intervened.
A video showing the kerfuffle was posted on Twitter.

Several tabloid headlines described the model’s retaliation as “angry”; a word which has coincidentally angered Hadid herself.
She tweeted about the incident, saying “I’m a HUMAN BEING and had every right to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to manhandle a complete stranger.”

We have to agree with Hadid. Seeing a famous person in the street doesn’t give you the right to treat them like a toy. And physically holding someone is always a big no no.
Sometimes, we really do have to remember that age-old line: celebrities are normal people too.
Be honest: would you have reacted any differently?
