Geri Horner seen for the first time since using her maiden name - after husband Christian's sexting scandal

Geri Horner, 51, has been spotted out in North London for the first time since it emerged that she used her maiden name Halliwell following her husband Christian Horner's public sexting scandal. The star kept a low profile as she tucked her flame-red hair away in a baseball cap, while opting to wear a matching casual t-shirt, jeans, and trainers in her signature white colour.

She was seen walking around suburban Highgate, where she owns a home with her Red Bull boss husband Christian Horner, who was cleared of allegations of sending intimate texts to a female employee. It comes as the star caused confusion after she introduced herself as 'Geri Halliwell' in a recent video for fashion house Christian Dior.

She had been attending the brand's catwalk show, which took place at the lavish Drummond Castle near Crieff in Perthshire, Scotland. In the clip, Ginger Spice can be heard saying, "C'est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell," which translates as "It's me, Geri, Geri Halliwell."

In February the singer's husband Christian was officially cleared of the inappropriate behaviour allegations against him. The 50-year-old F1 boss had been investigated following an accusation of "inappropriate behaviour" made by another member of Red Bull staff.

Red Bull released a statement to confirm the news, which read: "The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed.

"The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial. The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards."

At the time it was reported that his wife, who was formerly known as Geri Halliwell, was "standing by" him. Geri, who shares son Monty, six, with Christian, reportedly told pals she did not believe the gossip and was sure her husband had "done nothing wrong". Dad-of-two Christian, who has been at the helm of Red Bull as its team principal for nearly 19 years, denied the allegations made against him. At the time, he said in a statement: "I completely deny these claims."

Speaking in March, Christian said the investigation had been a "very trying period" for him and his family, including for Geri.

He said: "My wife has been phenomenally supportive through this, as has my family, but the intrusion on my family is now enough, and we need to move forward and focus on what we are here for."
