Geri Horner goes solo to celebrate Victoria Beckham's 50th after husband's scandal
Geri Horner attended Victoria Beckham's milestone 50th birthday bash alone, leaving hubby Christian at home amidst the Red Bull scandal.
The 51 year old former Spice Girl, turned heads as she graced Victoria's exclusive soiree without husband Christian. She looked stunning in a strapless white dress with bow detailing, whilst her red hair was pulled back into an elegant up-do.
Since tying the knot in 2015, Geri and millionaire Formula One Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner have enjoyed a high profile union, sharing a son together. However, he wasn't present as she stepped out for Victoria's big birthday party.
Evidently, it seems that unavoidable work duties held Christian back from joining in on the festivities with his stunning wife, with the Chinese F1 event taking centre stage. As Team Principal and CEO of the Red Bull F1 Team since 2005, he is known for being ever-present at all team events. In a supportive Instagram post, he jubilantly shared images of his team's recent successes.
Christian Horner's professional and personal life was shaken by the leak of hundreds of messages he allegedly sent to a female colleague. The messages were revealed just a day after it was announced that he had been cleared to continue as team principal at Red Bull following an internal investigation into "inappropriate behaviour".
However, back home in the UK - and weeks after the scandal hit the headlines - Christian missed out on a fabulous party as Victoria Beckham took over the famous Oswald's club in Mayfair, London, to celebrate her milestone birthday. Geri and the other Spice Girls were all present, making it a rare event where all five ladies were together at the same time.
At the star-studded event to celebrate Victoria Beckham's birthday, a series of well-known faces came out in force, with the birthday girl herself attending the shin-dig on crutches after breaking a foot in a gym accident. Beside her was her ever-supportive family, including David Beckham, 48, and their children Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and 12 year old Harper Seven.
Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise, 61, was among the first to arrive at the glamorous bash at Oswald's, making a grand entrance in a sharp evening suit. Not one to stand idly by, when a hapless paparazzo took a tumble at the restaurant entrance, Mission Impossible's leading man quickly sprung into action to lend a hand.
Spice Girls' sisters in arms Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton brought the girl power, turning heads with their stunning outfits - Mel B turned up the heat in red while Mel C and Emma chose chic black numbers.
Reflecting on the milestone earlier this week, Victoria whose actual birthday was on Wednesday shared an Instagram post about embracing her fifties: "As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course! ), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone. Blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content. Not just of where I am as a woman, but of how far my fashion and beauty brands have come. My ambition was always to empower women and make them feel like the best version of themselves. To me, that meant trusting my instinct and never compromising on my creative vision.
