George Michael Turns Recluse And Shuts Himself Away Causing Concern For Friends
Friends and Family of George Michael have become extremely concerned after the star has cut himself off from the world.
The troubled singer, 51, has not left his £5million mansion in North London since May when he was taken to hospital following a mystery collapse.
Former Wham! star George was often seen shopping in his local area and was a regular on social media but has not interacted with his 560,000 Twitter followers since June.
It is thought he has only welcomed one visitor to his home – childhood friend David Austen who arrived at the star’s house on Friday with a suitcase.
A pal told the Sunday Mirror: “People are worried sick about him. He’s just cut himself off from everyone.”

George, who is estimated to be worth £100million has had a difficult few years – in 2009 he split from his partner of 15 years, Kenny Goss, and in 2010 he crashed his Range Rover into a branch of photographic shop Snappy Snaps near his home when was found to be high on cannabis.
He was ordered to spend eight weeks in prison, but only served four, for drug driving. He was also banned from driving for five years and fined £1,250.
In 2011 the musician almost died after he collapsed with severe pneumonia before a concert in Vienna, Austria.
George was given a life-saving tracheotomy by doctors and was in a coma after falling ill.
In 2013 the singer mysteriously fell out of a car travelling at speed down the M1 motorway and was airlifted to hospital.
He has also battled alcohol and drug addiction in the past.

A friend said: “Since splitting from Kenny and all his problems, he’s just gone off the radar. It was really down to Kenny that he was actually out socialising – even if it was just going to the cinema locally or for a meal.
“He hasn’t been seen out for months, he’s self-conscious about the scars on his throat and head, caused by the M1 incident and he’s put on weight.
“He watches tons of DVDs, has staff to book his favourite meals, such as pasta, and spends a lot of his time in his recording space writing but he turns down offers to collaborate with others. It’s not good, creative or healthy.”
It was hoped the star would make a big comeback in 2014 after completing a successful spell in rehab in Australia and giving up his habit of smoking 25 spliffs a day but, despite heavy promotion of his album Symphonica, which entered the charts at number one, it dropped out of the top 100 within 14 weeks.
