When taking a road trip, stopping at convenience stores along the way to stock up on new snacks is half the fun. If you’re already driving past, you can’t skip a Slurpee from 7-Eleven, a slice of pizza from Casey’s, Beaver Nuggets from Buc-ee’s, or a hoagie from Wawa.

While most convenience stores are known for some kind of food or drink, you also can’t forget about the exclusive products they may have. That’s right, gas stations like Sheetz and Circle K get unique brand deals to sell certain products just like grocery stores do.

This summer, Circle K (also known as America’s Thirst Stop) has two exclusive beverages thanks to its ongoing partnership with PepsiCo. Beginning May 1, Circle K will offer a new Gatorade flavor that's only available at the convenience store: Gatorade Lightning Blast.

The 28-ounce bottle of silver Gatorade will be stocked in Circle K’s coolers through August. So, you’ll have nearly the entire summer to replenish your electrolytes with the fruity flavor.

There isn’t much information about what the new Gatorade tastes like, but with the purple lightning strike across the bottle, we’re sure it will be an electrifying experience.

Alongside Circle K’s limited-edition Gatorade, we’ll also see a fan-favorite Mountain Dew flavor back on shelves this summer. Mountain Dew Purple Thunder is returning for the third year in a row. Because what goes better with Gatorade lightning than Mountain Dew thunder?

Mountain Dew Purple Thunder is said to be a bold and sweet blend of blackberry and plum flavors. The Circle K-specific Mountain Dew is available in both regular and zero-sugar varieties in 20-ounce bottles and 12-pack cases.

You can also enjoy the flavor as one of Circle K’s Polar Pops, which is available straight from the fountain in multiple sizes—essentially the store’s version of a 7-Eleven Big Gulp—or as a Froster, which is the frozen slushy version.

To prove that Circle K is truly America’s Thirst Stop, from May through August, all customers can get any size Polar Pop or Froster for just 79 cents. Whether you choose to fill the cup with Mountain Dew Purple Thunder or another PepsiCo favorite, anytime you hit your Circle K store, you can snag the deal. Even better, if you join Circle K’s free rewards program, you can get the same deal for 69 cents instead of 79 cents.

Suddenly, we’re rerouting our summer road trips to hit every Circle K along the way.
