Gary Barlow teases Robbie Williams' 'return to Take That' – 14 years after last reunion
Robbie Williams might be making a comeback to Take That. The 50 year old singer, who shot to fame as part of the pop group from 1990 to 1995, went solo in 1996 after numerous disagreements with bandmate Gary Barlow.
However, Gary has hinted that Robbie could rejoin the group, which reformed as a four-piece in 2005 and then became a trio in 2014 when Jason Orange, 54, decided to step away from the limelight. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Gary revealed that he and fellow bandmates Mark Owen, 52, and Howard Donald, 56, could potentially welcome Robbie back into the fold: "Will there be five again? Could be. Will there be four again? Probably. Who knows? " He added: "The phone rings and it could mean anything, but that’s the thrill. We’re all mates."
Despite admitting that the chances of all five original members reuniting are slim, Gary seemed optimistic about Robbie's return: "Robbie coming back? I could see that. So there."

When the interviewer suggested that Robbie's return would excite fans, Gary responded: "Well, it thrills me." Gary also shared that despite their age, he, Mark and Howard don't hold back on their dance routines during tours. He said: "I feel like we’re scaling it up! We’re dripping with sweat when we come off."
As for his preparation for Take That shows, Gary – who has struggled with fluctuating weight over the years – said: "If we’re about to go on a long tour then it’s cardio-based, because I’ve got to sing while I’m moving around." He added: "I need to be able to take a deep breath and it lasts me a few lines.".
"Otherwise I’m on the weights and balance work. I do regular saunas, I do ice baths every day. They are a buzz. I love the pain."
