Gabrielle Union Shines in a Gold Sequined Minidress and Jacket
Gabrielle Union knows how to make a shining appearance.
The Bring It On actress attended the premiere of the Netflix documentary The Redeem Team alongside her husband, former Olympic basketball star Dwyane Wade, on Thursday night, making a head-turning appearance in a golden look from Valentino.
Styled by Thomas Christos Kikis, the ensemble was comprised of a jacket and minidress set by the Italian fashion house, which were both covered in sequins and stripes made of grouped circular embellishments. She paired the set with matching gold stilettos by Jimmy Choo, and her accessories included a silver Valentino purse and gold Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
The Being Mary Jane star also styled her hair in a sleek top knot, paired with a glam makeup look and a nude lip.
Meanwhile, Wade, who served as executive-producer alongside LeBron James on the documentary, paired a white button-down shirt with a vibrant Gucci suit, printed with pale yellow and green florals on a white background.
The Union-Wades spent the past summer showing off their impeccable couple style during their annual family vacation, which they've dubbed the Wade World Tour. For one outing in Ibiza, the pair stepped out in coordinating woven mesh outfits with crystal embellishments.
The Cheaper by the Dozen star wore the black Sade Crystal Mesh Midi Dress by the NYC-based brand Diotoma, which features long sleeves and cutouts at the waist. She styled her curly hair slicked back in a half-up high ponytail, and her accessories included large silver hoop earrings and a black-and-tan triangle-print minibag.
As for Wade, the NBA star wore a shimmering dark blue mesh tank with navy trousers, finishing the look with black loafers, sunglasses, and a silver chain necklace.
