Friends fans spot awkward plothole 20 years after beloved sitcom aired
Friends fans were left gobsmacked after spotting a series of blunders in the iconic sitcom.
Around 20 years since the final episode aired, viewers of the beloved American show have questions. With streaming platforms like Netflix making binge-watching easier than ever, eagle-eyed viewers have been quick to point out inconsistencies in the plot.
One dedicated fan, Sadie, took to social media to share a comprehensive list of all the plotholes she'd noticed, racking up more than 21,000 likes in the process.
Her findings ranged from Ross' random ice cream eating habits to the number on the famous green door changing. And it's safe to say that life-long fans are stunned.

In a series of screenshots from the show, Sadie pointed out: "Ross doesn't like ice cream because it makes his teeth cold... but he is seen eating it multiple times."
She also noted that Ross seemed to remain 29 for three seasons, despite each season supposedly representing a year in their lives.
The TikToker didn't stop there, adding: "Phoebe, when teaching Joey the guitar, doesn't know the names of the chords. But when arguing with Stephanie, she seems to know them pretty well."
She continued: "The apartment doors changed after season 1. They went from 5-20. Ross claims he only ever did 'it' with Carol up until their divorce. But later on, Chandler reveals Ross did it with the lady who cleaned their dorm room.
"When Ross kissed Chandler's mum, Joey states sisters are okay. But later he punishes Chandler for kissing his sister."
Furthermore, she reminded us of the first-time introduction between Rachel and Chandler during the pilot episode. Yet, in subsequent episodes, it was revealed they had previously met numerous times, including at Monica's for Thanksgiving.
The TikTok post ignited a whirlwind of responses – and users jumped into the comments to express their thoughts. One individual quipped: "As a 29-year-old old I also plan to be 29 for three years in a row."
Another user pointed out: "Ross' birthday changes multiple times too." And another sarcastically remarked: "Stephanie knows all the chords!"
So is the series ruined forever or are you happy enough to let any inconsistencies slide? Let us know in the comments below.
