The small catch is you have to be a part of McDonald's rewards program to receive the offer. The rewards program is easy to join: just download the McDonald's app and create an account. Once signed up, you'll be privy to plenty of perks, including a free 10-piece McNuggets with your first app order (minimum purchase of $1). You'll also be able to earn points that can be redeemed for various menu items.
Making this year's free fries offer even more exciting is the fact that McDonald's has two new dipping sauces you can experiment with with your order of fries.
The Mambo Sauce, likely the best bet for your fries, is a tomato-based sauce that hails from Washington D.C. and has sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. The other new dipping addition is McDonald's Sweet & Spicy Jam Sauce, a sauce that's way more suitable for your breakfast unless jam and French fries is well...your jam.
