Florence Pugh Just Starred In A New Music Video As A Best Friend In A Crisis
She’s the actor most known for dazzling audiences in Don’t Worry Darling and portraying Communist Party member Jean Tatlock in Oppenheimer, but Florence Pugh’s latest role might just be one of her most relatable on-screen moment yet.
Starring as a best friend in distress in the video for Rachel Chinouriri’s latest single, 'Never Need Me', Pugh channelled Noughties Paris Hilton in a shimmering, barely-there chainmail mini dress and nostalgic hair clips.
This isn't Pugh's first time dipping her toe into the world of music. The Oxford-born star has contributed vocals to a number of songs in the past, including Flyte’s 'Tough Love' and her brother Toby Sebastian’s 'Midnight.' She also sang on two of the tracks for the soundtrack to her film, A Good Person.
The release of the video comes amid a jam-packed award season for the star, which has seen Pugh dazzle in floor-sweeping Valentino at the Golden Globes and channel Old Hollywood in a blush gown at the 14th Annual Governors Awards. Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer has dominated award season so far, most recently garnering 13 nods at this year's BAFTA Awards.
