Fitness stars are often accused of faking their impressive transformation shots, trimming a bit of inner thigh here, a slight belly bulge there. And though there’s no doubt some body overhauls may well have been improved with the help of a photoshopping filter, the majority are likely down to a badass fitness regime and good old healthy living.

The latest fitspo to be accused of tinkering with their Instagram images is Australian fitness blogger Tammy Hembrow. The 22-year-old mum-of-two has been busy charting her journey to reclaim her pre-baby body.

Taking to her Instagram, the fitness and nutrition coach shared an image of her incredible post-baby figure to her 4.1 million followers just two months after giving birth to her baby girl, Saskia Rose.

“Taken less than two months apart,” she wrote. “It’s truly incredible what the human body can do. It’s so important to love yourself and your body at EVERY stage in your life. Every body is different, and you should never compare yourself to others. But if you give your body the love, exercise, and nutrition it deserves, you will reap the rewards.”

But despite being known for her intense workouts and muscular physique, many of her followers weren’t convinced her pre and post baby pictures were entirely real.

“What happened to her leg though??” One skeptical follower asked.

“I just realised it’s photoshopped but she’s so beautiful,” added another

“God does no one understand that the body doesn’t do that in two months, she’s clearly Photoshopped this pic.” Accused another.

“I was hoping it wasn’t because I adore her. Meh. Still gorgeous but disappointed,” wrote another fan.

But others were quick to jump to the fitness star’s defence, putting the accusatory comments down to jealousy.

“Awesome job @tammyhembrow haters out there will say it’s photoshopped but anyone who follows you can see you kept up a fitness regime your whole pregnancy and your young so this is totally possible,” one fan wrote.

“Can I just say how insulting that must feel to her, you can see all her hard work she puts in - she has a fitness program clearly she works out. I’m a young mum of 2 beautiful babies and @tammyhembrow is such an inspiration to people like me, she’s proof you can have a good body after babies. So stop all the negative sh*t,” added another fan.

Tammy puts her incredible post-baby body down to clean eating and training throughout her pregnancy until the final weeks. She hoped that by posting the pictures she would help encourage other mums who’ve given up hope of regaining their pre-baby bodies.

“I’ve lost a lot of muscle but I’m pretty happy with my postpartum body so far,” she wrote alongside another transformation picture on Instagram.

“So many women think you can’t get your body back after pregnancy but this just isn’t true. I can’t wait to start training again in a few weeks and get my body into the best shape it’s ever been in.”
