‘Watch this space for more bearded and twirly wirly moustachioed antics. #UngentlemanlyWarfare #TheMinistryOfUngentlemanlyWarfare,’ he added, with the post including a pair of photos of Cavill in character from the film.

In addition to Cavill, the stacked cast for the film includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer and Cary Elwes, with Ritchie co-writing the screenplay alongside Arash Amel, Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy.

The upcoming film comes amidst a packed schedule for Ritchie, with the filmmaker releasing Aladdin, The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and The Covenant all within the last five years.

The director recently announced a new project for Apple TV+, with John Krasinski and Natalie Portman set to star in Fountain of Youth. The pair will play ‘estranged siblings who partner up on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth’.

‘They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives – and possibly lead to immortality,’ concludes the logline.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is scheduled to be released on April 19.
