Most film premieres are fashionable affairs, but the ‘Black Panther’ premiere took red carpet style to a whole new level. In fact, we would go as far as to say there probably won’t be another film premiere in 2018 with such an array of fashion-forward looks.

The highly anticipated Marvel blockbuster’s LA premiere was attended by a wealth of actors, including Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar-nominee Daniel Kaluuya, singer Janelle Monáe, Martin Freeman, Cobie Smulders and Angela Bassett. And each was dressed to impress.

Janelle went bold in a big, black Christian Siriano dress finished with one blue, and one white, sleeve. Lupita looked regal in a purple, bespoke Atelier Versace gown, boasting a jewelled harness. Angela worked a retro inspired Naeem Khan co-ord, paired with chunky gold accessories.

The male stars were just as well dressed. Donald Glover added a pop of colour in a tangerine, satin suit while Daniel Kaluuya wore a burgundy, velvet blazer over a traditional African linen dress.
