Ferne McCann's £14 ASDA denim shorts are a bargain must-buy

The hunt for the perfect pair of denim shorts to see you through summer is finally over thanks to Ferne McCann – and you won't believe how much she paid for them.

The former TOWIE star proved that supermarkets shouldn't be overlooked when it comes to hunting down fashionable finds, as she wore an eye-catching pair from George at ASDA to a friend's birthday over the weekend.

Ferne McCann looked incredible in her supermarket shorts

But the icing on the cake is that the denim cut-off's only cost her £14! Made in a classic mid-blue wash, the stunning high-waisted shorts feature distressed detailing and raw hem – perfect teamed with a pair of trainers and crop top like Ferne.

Or, if you're not feeling as ab-proud as the reality TV star, the shorts would also look great styled with a loose-fitting cami or graphic T-shirt.

If the idea of hunting through your local ASDA during the current pandemic fills you with dread, then fear not, as these bad boys can still be purchased online and are available in sizes 8 – 20.

Ferne delighted her social media followers with her bargain find. Sharing the image on Instagram on Monday, she captioned the snap: "Visualise your highest self...& start showing up as HER!!." "Love this and LOVE the outfit vibe," one fan wrote. "Gorgeous as ever. Love the look," posted another.

Ferne isn't the only celebrity who's turning to the supermarket for a fashion fix. Last month, Lorraine Kelly appeared on-screen wearing a bargain dress from George at ASDA. Though the dress has sadly now sold out online, it may still be available in stores. Called the 'Sage Green Ditzy Floral Midi Shirt Dress', it's won rave reviews from ASDA shoppers – no doubt that's why it flew off the virtual shelves. And, for £18, you can't go wrong.
