Fearne Cotton, 43, has spoken publicly for the first time after announcing her separation from husband Jesse Wood, 48. On her podcast Happy Place, the presenting star had a candid conversation with beauty expert Caroline Hirons about the changes her body underwent after pregnancy, reports OK!.

Fearne, who has an 11 year old son Rex and a 9 year old daughter Honey with Jesse, openly discussed her post-pregnancy experiences. When discussing how to maintain healthy skin, Caroline suggested: "If you want to change the structure of your skin, that is when you go and see someone who can do an injectable.

"That's the structure of your skin. So if you think about the scaffolding outside the building, that will start to dismantle as we get older - it just does. You know, the joke is about everything heading south. If you've breastfed four kids and you take your bra off, you are very aware of that."

Fearne chimed in humorously: "Babes, I'm there. Two of them babes, still there," and Caroline concurred: "Exactly, it only takes one, let's be honest. It takes one and you're like, 'Wait, where did they go? "Droopy little dog ears," Fearne chuckled, adding: "F**k that, we're scooping them off the ground" when discussing putting on a bra.

Fearne Cotton has been candid about her transition from a wild social life to embracing wellness and serenity, trading raucous parties for personal tranquility. Reflecting on her past, she told the Mirror: "I would cram my first flat with as many humans as possible back in the day, music blaring, vodka flowing and very little food. In my twenties, I would happily wander off to bed with beer bottles in the sink and even actual humans sleeping on the sofas."

Moving away from that lifestyle, Fearne shared that these days, she prefers quieter times, saying: "I don't want to go to a party and talk to people," adding that she'd much rather enjoy a foot rub instead.

Despite building a peaceful life with her husband Jesse Wood, Fearne took to Instagram last Friday to announce their separation. "It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time," she posted on Instagram.

The couple's romance dates back to 2011 when they met during a girls' trip to Ibiza. Fearne marked the memory by uploading an endearing throwback photo on Instagram, capturing the moment they exchanged numbers.

She captioned the photo with a memory: "My mate @amandabyram who I was on a girls holiday with, took a sneaky photo 8 years ago to the day of me and @jessejameswood swapping numbers on a night out in Ibiza," and added, "Who would have thought it would lead to two kids and marriage! A game changing, very drunken night out that I'm forever grateful for. Happy 'when we met' anniversary Jesse."
