Fashion Valentine’s: Dakota Johnson Loves Gucci

In the weeks leading up to Valentines day we’re going to post a series of blog posts about the most stylish girls around and their love for certain designers.
Today it’s about Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson and her love for Gucci.
Last year was a massive one for 36 year-old Dakota. She went from practically unknown to a star pretty much overnight, when in February of 2015 the world-wide massive cinematic hit Fifty Shades of Grey was released.
Since then she has gone on to steal the screen in: Cymbeline, based on the Shakespeare play; Black Mass with Johnny Depp; A Bigger Splash; and How To Be Single, which comes out later this month.
But with such a variety of roles under her belt, requiring her to continuously transform, there is one thing guaranteed; when she comes around to working the promotional trail she will be wearing Gucci.

2015 was also a huge year for Alessandro Michele, 42, who was hired as Creative Director at Gucci. After a rocky 2 years for the Italian house, Michele’s designs quickly became the hottest clothes to wear.
With his ‘quirky’, geek-chic style, he has brought the fun back to fashion. It’s his colourful designs that all of Hollywood have been seeking out and wearing all over town.
The bright, young, romantic silhouette - as favoured by the Gucci designer - has found its ideal muse in pretty-young-thing Dakota.
