Fans Rush to Support Luke Bryan After the CMAs Reveal This Year's Hosts

Well, folks, it looks like Luke Bryan is about to pull double duty during one of the biggest nights in country music!

The longtime American Idol judge is set to host the 2023 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards alongside Peyton Manning on November 8, but that's not the only thing he's doing that night. In a new video posted on Luke's Instagram on October 25, he announced that he'll be taking the stage in another fashion during the ceremony. In addition to being the emcee, he'll also be performing at some point during the show.

"Y’all ready? I’m excited to be back hosting and performing at the #CMAawards this year. Catch me on country music’s biggest night, Wednesday, November 8 on ABC."

Naturally, Luke's fans couldn't contain their excitement.

"I can’t wait to watch you host and perform. You will be amazing," one person passionately wrote on Instagram. "Definitely ready to watch you," another agreed. "Looking forward to some great music and original shenanigans 🙌," a different follower added.

According to People, Luke will be taking the stage to celebrate his 30 No. 1 singles. Among the tracks he'll sing include "Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day," "One Margarita," "That’s My Kind of Night," "Play It Again" and "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)."

The news of Luke reaching this accomplishment came back in September, when he revealed the milestone online. Posting a video celebrating the achievement with loved ones on Instagram, he reflected on everyone who helped him get to this point of his longstanding career.

"It’s pretty surreal to think about all the people that have been involved in the mix to make 30 #1’s happen," he wrote on September 20. "Thank you friends and family who came out to celebrate last week and a special thanks to all the songwriters and producers on these songs. Humbled to celebrate this accomplishment with so many who were involved in my career, including my artist friends that took the stage. Couldn’t have done it without all of y’all."
