Is Fallout returning for season 2? Here's what we know so far
Life outside the vaults has been wild especially for Lucy, but now things are getting even wilder as fans wait for any news about season two of Fallout on Prime Video. Considering how much history the games have and even that big connection that the season one finale made to one of the most iconic cities in the series, there's no doubt that there's plenty of more that fans will want to see. So will there even be another season?
Here's everything we know about season two of the Fallout series.
Is Fallout coming back for season 2?
Details about a second season haven't been revealed yet, but considering the fact that the series just came out, there's still a good chance that we won't have to say goodbye just yet.
While the series is yet to be confirmed, the Fallout creators have already said they have ideas of what could happen next season, which suggests there's definitely hope amongst its team Fallout is coming back.
Fallout co-runner Graham Wagner gave the biggest hint the series would be returning when he revealed to TheWrap his plans to bring one of the game's biggest monsters Deathclaws into the show next season.
At the end of the series finale, we get our first tease of the Deathclaws and Wagner said this was intentional, explaining: "We wanted to get Deathclaws, but we didn’t want to just throw it away. It’s such a monumental piece. We want to save some something for season two to be able to do it properly, not just added on to the massive world building we had to do already in season one. So season two, we’re very excited to finally tackle one of the most iconic elements of the games.”
Sounds like it's (hopefully) a go ahead to us.
What would season 2 of Fallout be about?
With Norm discovering the secrets of Vault 31, there's definitely a lot more history and lore for us to explore. Meanwhile, Lucy and The Ghoul are off together to try to find Hank again and that's where things get very interesting. Because not only has Hank run away, but he's gone off to none other than New Vegas. Fans of the games will certainly be excited to see the iconic setting back in a new way and will certainly bring some familiar faces along the way.
When will we learn if Fallout will be back?
Prime Video doesn't have a set timeline for big decisions like this, but we definitely hope it's ASAP as filming for season one took 8 months, according to Ella Purnell. So basically, the faster they renew it, the shorter the wait.
