EXCLUSIVE: Travis Barker on His Secret Weapon for Long-lasting Tattoos With New After Care Collection for Vibrant Ink
When it comes to tattoos, Travis Barker means business. Literally.
The Blink-182 drummer, who is currently on tour, is launching a Tattoo Aftercare Collection under his brand Barker Wellness. The line includes a Tattoo Aftercare Balm, $20, to support healing, and a Tattoo Butter, $22, to moisturize the skin and enhance the ink’s vibrancy with key ingredients like jojoba oil and shea butter.

“Given my love for tattoos, the launch of the Tattoo Aftercare Collection was the natural next step for Barker Wellness,” Barker said. “I’m excited to provide tattoo enthusiasts with products that reflect both my passion for clean wellness products and my understanding of the art of tattooing. These products offer the best care for your ink, ensuring optimal healing, vibrancy and longevity. I can’t wait for people to experience the difference with Barker Wellness and hope this collection empowers people to express themselves through body art.”
Over the past few years, tattoo care has become a more commonplace market, entering retailers like Walmart. While industry sources say the customer base is small, they expect the category to continue growing.
With his entrepreneurial endeavors, Barker has tapped into several of his other interests. He recently launched his own cannabis line, Barker Canna Co., which has gummies, vapes and pre-rolls. Through Barker Wellness, he has also explored his passion for CBD with skin care, body care, bath and ingestibles — in 2022, he teamed up with his wife Kourtney Kardashian Barker, who has her own wellness brand, Lemme, on several bath and body products. The duo, who recently welcomed their first child, is collaborating again, as Barker Wellness will be popping up at Camp Poosh (Kardashian Barker’s wellness platform) at weekend one of Coachella this year.
This month, the brand also revealed that it would launch in the Asia Pacific region, marking its first international expansion.
“We are entering the Asia Pacific region to embrace a new culture and connect with individuals who value health and wellness as much as we do,” Barker said in a statement. “The appreciation for natural, vegan and cruelty-free products aligns perfectly with our values, and we are excited to introduce our premium wellness products to this market. We are not just introducing our products; we are entering this market to bring a lifestyle of holistic wellbeing, mindfulness and balance internationally.”
The Barker Wellness team declined to share sales projections, but industry sources estimate the Tattoo Aftercare Collection could reach between $1 million and $2 million in sales its first year.
