EXCLUSIVE: Lizeth Selene Makes Debut in YSL Beauty’s Libre Flowers & Flames Digital Empowerment Series
YSL Beauty has named Mexican actress and singer Lizeth Selene as its third talent for the Libre Flowers & Flames fragrance “Burn to Bloom” digital series.
Shot and directed by Brooklyn-based photographer Tyler Mitchell, the “Rebelde” and “Down the Rabbit Hole” actress’ appearance in the project follows Hailey Bieber and Precious Lee, who were selected by YSL Beauty as their first and second talents in the empowering series, respectively.

“Libre is a celebration of freedom and owning who you are,” Selene told WWD exclusively. “This isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it, and I hope to inspire young women everywhere — no matter where they are from or what they look like.”
The concept brings together a group of energetic, strong women who do not conform to “societal rules and expectations,” according to the brand.
“Lizeth’s strong sense of self has empowered her to live authentically, on her own terms,” said YSL Beauty U.S. general manager Juliette Ferret. “She embodies the essence of Libre, capturing the paradox of a woman who is both powerful and vulnerable.”
The series will be released in different chapters throughout the remainder of 2024 via digital and social channels.
The scent is a blend of coco-palm tree flower accord, lily flower, orange blossom and vanilla. It’s available in 10-ml for $35, 30-ml for $95 and 90-ml for $165 on yslbeautyus.com and at department stores and specialty retailers.
YSL Beauty’s Libre featured global ambassador Dua Lipa in a campaign when it debuted in 2019.
