EXCLUSIVE: Frette Taps Former Tory Burch, LVMH Manager as Its First Chief Commercial Officer
MILAN — Storied Italian linens firm Frette has made its second executive hire since being bought by Raza Heritage Holdings.
Frette on Wednesday said it has hired Yves Coppin as its first chief commercial officer. Coppin joined most recently from Tory Burch, where he was president of Europe and the Middle East from March 2022 to August 2024. Before that, he was managing director, Greater China, Asia-Pacific at Celine for two years, according to his LinkedIn. He was also Berluti‘s president of China, Asia-Pacific and Japan for eight years until 2020 and regional director of Asia and later of Asia and the Pacific of Moët Hennessy between 2006 and 2012.

In this current role, Yves is responsible for aligning commercial initiatives with Frette’s long-term vision, and he will oversee Frette’s global direct-to-consumer operations, including retail and e-commerce and the company’s efforts to drive innovation in sales and partnerships.
In October, Frette made its first executive hire since it was bought by Raza Heritage Holdings, a consortium of strategic and private equity investors. The firm hired fashion veteran Cristiano Quieti as its chief merchandising and marketing officer.
Frette’s longtime chief executive officer Filippo Arnaboldi underscored Coppin’s track record and decades in the luxury sphere.
“His experience and passion for delivering excellence will be instrumental in driving our commercial
strategy as we continue to grow and evolve the brand’s 165-year legacy,” he said.
The new hires reflect Frette’s focus on reinforcing its position in the global luxury market and at the same time efforts to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of design, craftsmanship and customer experience.
In September 2023, Raza Heritage Holdings purchased Frette from London-based private equity fund Change Capital Partners. Raza includes Chinese billionaire Ding Shizhong, chairman of Anta Sportswear, one of China’s largest sportswear-makers. Shizhong made a personal investment via a private family investment vehicle. The consortium of private investors also includes Hong Kong businesswoman Adrienne Marie Ma, the former president of Joyce Boutique Group Ltd.
In November, Arnaboldi told WWD that by 2029, Frette aims to reach 279 million euros in sales, targeting about 100 million euros from the hospitality business alone. In 2023, revenues were in line with 2022, at around 129 million euros.
