Former Home and Away star Rob Kipa-Williams has revealed whether he would consider returning to Summer Bay.

Although the soap star's character Ari Parata was killed off last year, many fans are calling for Rob's return and are suggesting a shock twist in which Ari has either faked his own death or has an identical twin.

It wouldn't be the first time a soap has taken one of these routes, and Rob has said that he's open to the idea of it.

"Obviously, one of the big questions [fans ask is], 'Are you still going to keep acting?'. Absolutely, absolutely. I love acting," he told Yahoo Lifestyle.

"I guess acting works in an interesting way. You never really get a choice on when it comes around. So I guess for me, it’s just when the right opportunity comes my way."

Rob continued: "I would consider going back [to Home and Away] for a short stint, for sure. Why not? There’s some interesting theories that different fans have posted up about how I could come back."

Rob recently opened up about life after his Home and Away departure, revealing that he's been connecting with his Māori roots by buying a farm in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and learning te reo, the Māori language .

"[There] was definitely a part of me that was calling to come back [to Aotearoa]," he said,

"It's always been sort of a calling to learn te reo, and I think it just came up really strongly in the last two years, and then [I] finally made the move to do it."
