Everything We Know About When Taylor Swift Is Returning to the Eras Tour
Singer, songwriter and TIME magazine's 2023 Person of the Year Taylor Swift has kept fans occupied this past year.
If it wasn't news about her decades-spanning Eras Tour or coverage of Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version), it was news about her blossoming relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce or her Eras Tour movie.
But with the year wrapping up and 2024 on the horizon, fans are wondering what's next — a re-release of Reputation or even her debut album? A brand new album? Perhaps an engagement? You can never be too sure about what the country-turned-pop singer will do next, but one thing we can definitely expect to see: Her return to The Eras tour.
But when exactly will she be hitting the stage for the international leg of her tour? Here's everything we know.
When does Taylor Swift return to the Eras tour?
The Reading, Pennsylvania-born popstar is traveling across the globe early next February for four shows in Tokyo, Japan starting February 7.
Although she technically started the international leg of the tour back in early October with a series of shows in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in South America, the Tokyo shows will be the beginning of a much bigger run of shows, including dates in Australia and Singapore in March. She'll then take a month-long hiatus before resuming shows in May, in Paris.

She'll finish up her European leg in mid-August, then continue with shows in Canada, before some last-minute stops to American cities like Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis. She's scheduled to finish the tour on December 8, 2024 in Vancouver — only five days before her 35th birthday. But we know "all too well" that the singer's love of surprises might mean fans could see more tour dates added to her schedule throughout the year ahead.
It's estimated that the 34-year-old will make $4.1 billion from the Eras tour, adding another accomplishment to her ever-growing resume as the first singer to have a tour clear $1 billion, edging out Sir Elton John and his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour (which originally held the record at $939 million).
And while the economic success can't be ignored, for Taylor, each show — spanning 180+ minutes, 40+ songs, 16 costume changes and much more — is all about the fans.
"I know I’m going on that stage whether I’m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable or stressed,” Taylor told TIME. "That’s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I’m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure."
She continued later in the article, "This is the proudest and happiest I’ve ever felt, and the most creatively fulfilled and free I’ve ever been."
